Got a call from someone overseas pretending to be O2 but it was definitely not them. As soon as I said I wasn’t with O2, they just ended the call. Total scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call from a number in Edinburgh but no one spoke. I’ve never met anyone from there before.

I saw an unfamiliar number ringing me but decided not to pick up - figured if it was serious they’d drop a voicemail. After reading the comments here, I’m relieved I ignored it. Added to my block list now.

Got a call out of the blue, but when I picked up there was nobody there on the other end.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Three, offering to cut my monthly bill down to £12. They asked me how much I was paying at the moment. I told them, isn’t that info already on your system? But they insisted I needed to say it. Since my bill is only about £8, I’m pretty sure this was a total scam.

They rang me but quickly ended the call within a few seconds, seemed like a dodgy scam try if you ask me.

Honestly, it's quite pitiful how these con artists operate. They really need to find something more meaningful to occupy their time.

I caught him out! He was spinning a yarn, saying he was ringing from O2, trying to lure me in with some bogus discount. Clearly, he was after my bank info.

Got another call from some 02 scammer, same old story.

Total rip-off!

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 with a deal. Told them I’m not even an O2 customer and she just ended the call right after.

I picked up my phone since the caller ID showed an Edinburgh number. A man with an Asian accent claimed he was calling from EE. When I asked what he wanted, he said there was a special deal just for me on the newest iPhone. I’d seen those TV shows about these sorts of scams, so I just yelled “SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!” and then ended the call. Watch out for this sort of thing!

They say they're from your provider but can’t even get your name or what sim package you have. Not the brightest way to kick things off.

Got a call from someone claiming my phone bill was overdue, but it wasn’t even due for a few more days. Smells kinda like a phishing attempt to me. Anyone else had this?

They said they were ringing from the 02 network, but i’m not even a customer, so I just hung up.

Is this a scam linked to some internet service? Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call but no one said a word before it just hung up.

Got a call saying it was EE wanting me to upgrade. They then asked what I’m paying monthly, so I turned it around and asked them to tell me their price instead. Next thing, they just cut me off! The line was really dodgy and scratchy too, not what you'd expect from a UK number. Felt more like some foreign call pretending to be legit.

When I rang them back, I ended up being put on hold, but all I could hear was silence through the phone line - definitely felt like a scam to me.

Happened the same thing to me as well.

SCAM - JUST DROP THE CALL & BLOCK. Someone phoned pretending to be from O2, saying my account wasn’t paid because my bank info was wrong and I’d be hit with fees if I didn’t give them new details straight away. But I’d already paid my bill days ago, everything’s sorted and the direct debit is all set, next payment isn’t due until next month. Total scam, be careful!

Got a call claiming to be from EE, said I could get a discount or upgrade. I gave them the wrong DOB and address just to see, and they actually went along with it. Feels dodgy, like it might be a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 customer support. Since I’m not an O2 customer, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call supposedly from O2 but I could barely hear the person, so I just hung up. It was definitely a dodgy call, some Indian lady claiming to be from O2’s customer support. With Christmas coming, these scammers are really coming out in numbers.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Three, saying they'd give me 30% off my monthly bill as a thank you for being loyal. The lady on the line had an Indian accent and she asked what I usually pay each month. I ended the call pretty quick though, because there’s no way they don’t already have that info on file, right?

Got two calls from this number, so I rang back. Another number answered with a message offering to put me on a do not contact list if I pressed 9. I pressed it, but just got the same recording on repeat. After reading these reviews, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.
