My phone's spam filter sent this number straight to voicemail, and it left a garbled message. It sounded like an overwhelmed call centre worker mumbling something about my order before abruptly hanging up. The odd thing is, I haven't placed any orders at all! Clearly, this number is being wielded by some dodgy scammers.

Got a call from some woman saying I could get 30% off O2. She asked for my email, then somehow tried to reset my Microsoft password. Total scam, watch out folks!

Seems dodgy, probably a SCAM!

Got a call claiming to be from Vodafone with some big discount or something, bit weird as I’m not even with them. Definitely felt like spam to me.

I picked up, but no one said a word before they just cut the call.

Got a call from this number, it said it was from Edinburgh but I don’t really buy that. I didn’t pick up because it rang twice and then stopped. A mate told me this number’s done spam calls before, so I’m staying clear.

I received a call from a lady, her accent was quite distinct and foreign. She seemed to be discussing "boundaries for networks" or something along those lines, but to be honest, I couldn’t quite grasp what she was saying.

'Vodafone', you say? 😂 Don't make me laugh! It's a right joke.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from O2 who wanted me to divulge my password for "security purposes." It's quite astonishing just how clueless these individuals can be!

A lady with an Indian accent rang me saying she was calling on behalf of o2 and offering a 30% discount. It sounded dodgy straight away so I just ended the call. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Got one of those scam calls again. Best not to answer or hang up right away, just let it keep ringing. If you pick up or even respond, they note your number as “live” and could sell it on to other scammers. Just leave it ringing and then block the number, simple as that.

Got a call from some stranger and they just made me press a bunch of buttons. Pretty sure it’s one of those scams.

My phone buzzed and when I answered, there was this robotic voice on the other end like from a call centre or something, then suddenly the call just cut off...

Got a call from this number earlier. The bloke on the phone was really cheeky and kept telling me to listen up. I just ended the call and put the number straight on block!

Got a weird call from some lady with a thick foreign accent babbling about "network borders" or something? Totally spam and just annoying. This was the second time she rang within an hour from an 0131 area code. I've blocked the number now.

I didn't manage to catch the call, but I couldn't help myself from looking it up out of curiosity. I've had enough of all these dodgy numbers ringing me!

Picked up the call and greeted them, but there was silence on the other end before they abruptly cut off. Seems like they’re just probing to confirm whether this is a genuine number to toss onto their scam roster. Typical behaviour! 😒

Seemed a bit suspicious to me, so I decided to give it a miss. I turned the volume on my phone all the way down and just left it to ring.

Received a rather dodgy call from a woman inquiring about which mobile I have, my provider, and what I’m shelling out each month. The connection was poor, but it screamed scam all over.

Someone rang me claiming to represent Vodafone, saying they were all set to upgrade my contract. However, it was blatantly obvious they were not genuine.

I engaged in a rather peculiar conversation with a woman exhibiting that unmistakable regional dialect (no offence intended). She very politely addressed me as 'ma'am' and claimed to be from O2, saying I was chosen for an incredible upgrade due to my loyalty as a long-standing customer. The thing is, I’m not even with O2! I let her prattle on for a bit, and when I feigned confusion and asked her to repeat herself, she did so with a hint of annoyance. Then, rather cheekily, I inquired if her spiel had anything to do with an accident I had over a decade ago, given that I still have to manage the wooden legs and my actual feet, which have become rather troublesome since that woodworm debacle! She then told me to “bugger off,” which I found exceedingly rude, prompting me to hang up on her.

She claimed to represent Curry's PC World. When I politely declined by saying, "I'm not interested, but thanks," there was just silence on her end. After a brief pause, I decided to hang up and promptly blocked the number.

I received a dodgy call claiming to be from O2, and they mentioned something about Currys too. Honestly, it’s nothing but a scam - absolutely avoid it like the plague!

What a nuisance! Just steer clear of this one. All these scammy calls often come from dodgy numbers.
