This call was totally dodgy. Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, asking if that was my name, then suddenly the connection got rubbish and I couldn’t hear where he was ringing from. After that, he kept firing questions at me, which seemed suspicious, so I just ended the call. He tried ringing again later. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, best just block and erase the number. Feels like he was after private details.

Got a call claiming there was a refund owed to me and they needed my phone info. When I asked which network they were with, they just dodged the question. Definitely felt sketchy - total scam!

He claimed to be from 'my network company' but then went on to ask me who actually supplies my network. Definitely felt like a total scam.

My phone showed this number as spam, which was odd because it came through just a minute after two other spam calls. I decided not to pick up.

This bloke from India rang me claiming he was calling for Three, which is the network I use. I took a chance and let him run through his spiel. He said I qualified for a big discount plus a service upgrade, even though I already have unlimited minutes. Made me suspicious, so I repeated back what he said to confirm, and he agreed. Then he wanted my personal info to verify everything. I asked him to tell me who I am and where I live to check his facts, but he got all awkward and said he couldn’t. That’s when I realised he was up to no good. I laughed, told him he should find a real job, and he kept chuckling but kept trying to convince me. I just ended the call. Would be great if reporting these scammers was less of a nightmare. Finding the right online form is tricky, and you never get any follow-up.

Had no clue who was calling, so I just blocked the number. After seeing the stories here about what went down when people picked up, I'm really pleased I didn’t answer - sounds like a typical scam call.

+44 131 381 1131 I picked up the phone and there was just silence on the other end, then the caller hung up. Seems like another one of those scams just to check if your number is active so they can bombard you with scam messages. Honestly, I’m getting super frustrated with these scammers!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone, saying I could get 30% off my bill. When they asked how much I usually pay, I told them I wasn’t sure. Next thing, they offered me a year-long deal at £14 a month. I wasn’t really convinced, just kept replying with “ok”. Then they put me through to a manager who said she needed to check some security details. That’s when I decided to hang up and block the number straight away.

Got a call from an Asian bloke in Edinburgh who said he was with Vodafone. He offered to cut my monthly bill from £26 down to £18 until my contract ends, apparently because of some “poor signal” issues over the past 4 months. Thing is, I haven’t had any signal troubles at all. He couldn’t explain if there was a catch. I told him I had to get back to work and ended the call. Not sure if it’s some sort of scam. I checked Vodafone’s site but couldn’t find anything about this deal.
