Got a call from this number earlier but chose not to pick up since I didn’t know who it was. No voicemail was left either. I’m getting so tired of these random calls from strangers trying to sell stuff or chat about some accident I apparently had. Now, I just ignore any calls from unknown numbers. If it’s important, they should leave a message and I’ll get back to them when I can.

He kept going on about “special offers” or whatever, and when I hesitated, he started copying everything I said. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I played along and said, “Sounds alright so far.” Then came the catch - they asked for a valid email address. I asked why, and they said it was for identity verification. That’s when I just ended the call.
