I had a rather alarming phone call, where the person on the line claimed to be from my bank's security department. They mentioned that my card had been used on two occasions, the first being a hefty £300 charge on Amazon. Just as they were about to continue, I decided to hang up. I'm fully aware of how my bank handles security verifications, and this certainly didn't align with their usual protocol.
