Today, on the 9th of August, I got a call informing me that my card was supposedly used for multiple purchases.

About five minutes back, I got a recorded call saying someone had taken £300 for Amazon and another grand from my bank. It wanted me to press 1 to confirm or 2 if I hadn’t done it. Honestly, I’m so done with these scammers, they’re pestering me every single day now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Loans To Go. I'd already blocked a different number linked to these guys and reported it, only to find out they’re not a legit company. Probably just a spoofed number coming from some dodgy call centre overseas.

Got a call from 0131 367 0478, which looks like it's from Edinburgh, but something felt off. I could barely make out what the caller was saying so I asked them to say it again, then they just ended the call. No clue what company it was or what they wanted - maybe selling their soul or something? Tried ringing them back but the line doesn't even exist. Feels like a dodgy call centre outside the UK, probably messing with GDPR too. Wouldn’t pay a penny if they came knocking!

Got a call from some loan firm, but the bloke on the line spoke English with what sounded like an Indian accent and it didn’t feel right. Ended up blocking the number and reported it straight away.
