Had to block 01313670332 after getting a call from what sounded like a call centre. Really thankful for the details I found on this site. Ever since I took out life insurance, the amount of scam calls has shot up loads. I’m registered with the TPS, so I shouldn’t be getting these random, annoying calls at all.

Got a ring from these lot earlier. They claimed I’d signed up for life insurance through the post office (had used this fib before). Then the bloke says I was a non-smoker when I got the policy. I told him I never said that and next thing, he just told me to f**k off a couple of times and hung up on me!! What a charming gent he was!

Received a call purporting to be from Legal and General. They asked for my name and date of birth, then went on to inquire about the coverage of my policy. I pointed out that they ought to have that information already, and just like that, the line went dead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Total scam. This woman, sounded Indian, didn’t want to say where she was ringing from. Then she just told me my address without even asking me for it first - that’s a huge data protection violation! Of course, the address she gave me wasn’t even mine. As soon as I told her she was breaking data laws and might get sued for it, she just cut me off.
