Got a call from 0131670266 and told them I work in credit checks, that they needed their credit info verified to issue a rating. They said, "No thanks, we’re loaded, don’t need credit." Heard some chuckling in the background, definitely not English voices. Seems like there’s hundreds of scammers like this around. I’m really fed up with wasting my time blocking these numbers, got a life too! It was a landline number by the way.

i just let it ring out, no point picking up with all the scammers going about these days. honestly, if you do pick up to an unknown number, a neat trick is putting the phone by the speakers or tv and crank up the volume. usually they’ll just hang up pretty quick when they can’t hear ya! better safe than sorry imo.

If you do pick up when it’s a number you don’t know, try this trick: put the phone near your TV or a speaker, crank the volume right up. They usually hang up pretty quick when they can’t hear you properly. Would definitely recommend everyone do this!
