Got a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, shouting over some loud noise, saying he was from O2. But I know O2 never ring from local numbers, just those weird non-geographic ones, so I knew straight away it was a scam. When I told him I wasn’t buying it, he just started making weird noises down the line! Ended up blocking the number, but they’ll just shift on to another one quickly enough.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be O2, asking for a 6 digit code that apparently O2 would be sending me. Sounds like a scam to me, and I’ve seen loads of reports about this on here already. Yet Action Fraud or the cops don’t seem to be taking any action. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, started by offering a discount then went on about my contract ending soon and that I had to decide on a new deal or something. Sounded dodgy straight away. They mentioned sending a text with a code, probably to hack into your account or something like that. I kept asking if they were for real and they ended up swearing at me and hanging up. Not very polite at all.
