Despite requests to stop, calls often continue, with some hang-ups upon answering. The organisation claims to be a reputable bureau but appears to be involved in aggressive marketing of refund services for packaged bank accounts. Users are advised to avoid paying for such services, as they can be costly and unnecessary. My phone gets calls from these lot at least once a week, often even more. Now they just drop the call when I pick up, but before, they were always on about some money I supposedly had waiting for me. Truth is, I don’t have any claim to money like that at all! I've told them straight away and asked them to stop, yet they carry on ringing. It's a shame there's no real way to put a stop to these sorts of nuisance callers!

So this bunch said they were from some "Consumer Information Bureau" and wanted me to "do a quick survey, just a few minutes really". Totally made up name. Turns out they're just dodgy PPI claim chasers looking for a payday. Avoid them!

Basically, this place tries to get you money back on bundle packages that come with things like mobile phone deals, travel insurance, or breakdown cover which you pay extra for. If you have one of these and never actually used the services, or if you weren’t informed that you needed to register your phone or car number first, then there’s a chance you could get those fees refunded. I wouldn’t bother with these companies though, they charge a fee themselves. It’s much simpler to just write to your bank yourself with details about how long you’ve been paying for these extras.
