10 yearsI reached out concerning some queries related to computers.11 yearsWe've just received a missed call from this number, but I'm not familiar with it at all. Chances are, it's yet another unwanted call.13 yearsJust got a call from them. I told a young woman politely no thanks, then mentioned I knew about their scam and ended the call. About five minutes later, a bloke rings up insisting they're legit and told me to switch on my computer. I refused, then when I asked if he thought I was stupid, he started arguing with me. Even after I said if there’s any problem I’d take it to my own IT guy, I just hung up. The phone rang a third time, so I put the telly on full blast, answered the call, and left it on speaker. Honestly, felt pretty smug after that!13 yearsToday I got a call from some dodgy lot pretending there was a security problem with my computer. They asked if it was switched on; I said no. Then they said they’d wait on the line. I left them hanging for a bit, then said again it was off. They asked if I’d turn it on, I said no, and then they just hung up. I’ve got one of those call blocking devices I got off Amazon, cost me about £60 but totally worth it. It lets me block weird calls with just one press, or you can put numbers in yourself. But for some reason, I couldn’t block this one, and I couldn’t call it back either ‘cos it showed up as an unknown number. Another caller about the same issue rang from 01179639046.Amazon13 yearsGot a call from a woman called Lisa, said she was with PC Wizard, sounded like she was from India. She wanted to sort out some issues with my computer, even though I never mentioned any problems. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call pretty quick. Watch out for this number and that so-called company - seems like a total scam.LisaIndia13 yearsHad a call from someone offering “computer support” - total scam! Told them I work in IT and even said I was recording, and they hung up straight away. Definitely don’t fall for it!13 yearsThey must be using some really outdated list, kept asking for the last person who lived here and left over 8 years ago!13 yearsI've been getting calls from this number loads but when I pick up, there's no one there... Tried ringing them back but all I get is just a busy signal.13 yearsSomeone called asking for my husband specifically. When I said he wasn’t home, the caller just ended the call straight away. I wanted to call back and let them know how impolite that was, but the number wouldn’t even connect. Honestly, can someone block this annoying person?13 yearsGot a call from this number claiming they wanted to fix some computer issues I never had. I told them I wasn’t interested and wouldn’t share any personal info. When I tried calling back, BT said the number didn’t exist or wasn’t recognised. I don’t bother with anyone who won’t let me ring them back.BTSubmit Your Own Report (0131 336 5306)
