Got a really rude and pushy call from 0131 297 5936, then they switched it up and rang me from a different number but it was the same annoying person. Had enough and blocked them straight away.

This number shows up on my phone as a local caller but it’s actually one of those annoying spam calls. They try all sorts, like offering help with PPI, car accidents, or life insurance - anything to get you to pick up. When you don’t answer, they leave no voicemail. Best thing is to save it as spam in your contacts and just block it. They’re sneaky using what looks like a local number instead of some far off area code, so watch out!

Most of the time it’s some telemarketer ringing me up to pitch stuff, and occasionally they’ll just call and then drop the line right away.

Received a message claiming to be from a debt helpline. However, when I attempted to return the call, I only encountered a recorded message. I've searched high and low, but can find no trace of this supposed company or organisation linked to this number in Edinburgh. It’s best to steer clear and block any calls from them - definitely sounds like a scam to me!

I picked up the phone, but there was complete silence on the other end. Just ten minutes later, the same number rang again, yet again, all I got was silence. Honestly, these annoying calls have to come to an end! A vast majority of them seem to be from foreign call centres attempting to pull a fast one. It's utterly infuriating!
