I've received a rather persistent series of calls from a number that supposedly belongs to my internet service provider. The voice on the other end, a woman named Shirley with a distinct American accent, claims that if I don't hit 1 to speak to an engineer, my internet connection will be cut off. Quite oddly, she doesn't mention the name of the provider. This is definitely not the first time I've been contacted by this number!
