I reckon this is one of those AI scam calls - every time you say something unexpected, it just repeats the same script from the start. They kept going on about Eco windows and doors. Total con!

As soon as they asked "Are you able to hear me alright?" I knew it was that same dodgy scammer "David" who rings our rarely used home phone every week without fail. I haven't got a clue if he was trying to push me solar panels, replacement windows, or some sort of personalised moon dust patches - I just sighed and put the phone down.

I let the answering machine pick up and the message was something about doors and windows - totally sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call about solar panels, same old line - "are you the homeowner?" Total rip off, I reckon. How come the TPS doesn't stop these annoying calls?

I wasn’t in when they called and they didn’t leave a voicemail. The number seemed dodgy at first, so I decided to check it out, and turns out it was definitely a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

Number I couldn't identify called me. I picked up, but no one spoke and no voicemail was left.

I got an answerphone message from some automated voice asking me to say my name so their manager would recognise who they were speaking to when they called again. No way am I doing that.

On the 15th of April, I got a call from someone called "David" - at least that’s what he claimed. He said he was with Windows & home improvements. He kinda sounded like a human, although I’m not entirely sure he wasn’t a bit robotic. Apparently, he didn’t notice he was leaving a message on my voicemail, so I only got part of what he said!

Got a call from a guy named David claiming to be from an insulation company, and yep, they've rang me a few times before. They always kick off the call by asking if I can hear them properly - don't say yes, apparently some con artists use that to record your voice. So watch out!

I got a call from a number beginning with 013, so I just blocked all calls from that prefix since I don’t recognise anyone using those. If you use a call blocker, definitely consider adding 013 to your blocked area codes. From what I’ve seen, this is probably one of those dodgy energy adviser scams. Also, numbers starting with 003, 004, 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, 074, 075, 077, 078 and 079 mostly seem to be scammers. Just be wary!

They said they were from a windows and doors company, but I didn’t say anything back and just let it go to voicemail.

Had something like this happen to me too, folks trying to sell loft insulation. It's the second time this week they've rung. I've just blocked the number now. Very dodgy!

Hi, can you hear me alright? Just got a call about windows and doors, sounded like one of those dodgy scams.

Got a voicemail on our business line after hours about loft insulation. Around the same time, my personal home phone rang from a number that looked pretty similar. Very odd!

My phone showed a missed call from this number earlier, but since I wasn’t home, it went straight to voicemail. There wasn’t any message left though, which makes me think it’s not a genuine caller. Seeing the other comments about it, I’m going to block it and mark it as risky.

They said hi, but before I could even get a word out, they just cut the call.

I got a call where the person started asking about insulation and then suddenly moved onto personal questions. They mentioned someone would ring me back to check my loft for damp and bad insulation. I told them I wasn’t interested at all. There were awkward pauses after each question and they never really reacted to what I said. Sounded like a robot rather than a real person. Even when I said no, they stuck to their script like nothing changed. Watch out for these calls - they’re probably just trying to scam you for your details, or even worse, get access to your property.

I got a call from someone called JAMES, said he was from my local energy company about loft insulation. Turned out, he’s not a real person but some kind of AI robot that couldn’t handle even easy questions from a market research survey. The number shows up under a company named PHONLEY. Tried to ask if it was an AI and it just dodged the question completely.

Got a call on my landline from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just let it ring out. No voicemail was left either. Actually, almost the exact same number tried me yesterday as well - something like 013112312301. I’ve gone ahead and blocked both of them now.

I got a call from a number I didn't recognise, so I just let it ring off. Who even calls that early on a Bank Holiday? Probably some dodgy scammer working from a foreign call centre or maybe someone trying to see if the house is empty for a break-in. Either way, it's annoying and a bit worrying.

Got a call about some "energy advisor in your area" but it was definitely some robot voice, didn't even bother to answer when I asked stuff. They kept going on about insulation and that sort of thing, total spam and I never asked for it!

Got a call from someone saying they were a 'local energy consultant.' They stuck to the same old script. Normally it's a lady who sounds South African, but this time it was a bloke. The number was on the TPS list too.

Got a call from this number but no one said anything when I answered. I tried ringing back just to check and all I got was some weird international ring tone, so I ended it straight away. Looks like it’s from outside the UK. I’d steer clear of it if I were you.

Got a call from some guy called David claiming to be from Windows Direct. Felt a bit dodgy to me. Could be one of those scams with AI or just some telemarketer ignoring the fact that our number’s on the no call list.
