It's just your run-of-the-mill scam call, masquerading as a local number to trick me into answering. This time, they claimed they were inquiring about my internet service. A stroke of luck that she happened to know our provider! When I asked for a callback number, she threw out my provider's actual number. Surprisingly, she didn’t have either my name or my husband's name on hand. The call was riddled with background chatter and the sound quality was dreadful, typical of the other pesky calls we often receive.
