If you happen to receive one of those collection bags tossed through your letterbox, it's best to just pop it straight in the bin. Alternatively, why not repurpose it as a rubbish bag? At least that way it serves a purpose. Just be cautious not to shove any items in there that would help the collectors make a profit and enable them to acquire even more bags. If everyone were to stop donating altogether, I reckon this rather dubious scheme would eventually fizzle out!
