Got a call from some consumer survey people, asked them nicely to take me off their list but the woman kept pushing. I ended up blocking the number. I only picked up because the number was from Edinburgh and seemed local. The lady’s English wasn’t great either, which made it even harder. If you get a similar call, just block it, honestly.

Got a missed call on my phone but haven’t got a clue who it was or what they were after.

I’ve realised that these scam callers never let the phone ring more than six times before they put the phone down. They never bother leaving a voicemail either. Whether they’re calling from mobiles or landlines, it’s always the same - just six rings and then silence.
