As someone who’s employed in a call centre, I received a call on our main line from this particular number. I picked up the phone in my standard fashion, saying, "You've reached household claims, how may I assist you?" To my bemusement, an automated voice prompted me to state my request. There was absolutely no clue regarding the identity of the caller or the purpose behind the call. I promptly hung up the phone. In my attempts to dig up more details about this number online, I found that the only information available is that it seems to be registered in Edinburgh.
