Got a voicemail about my broadband contract needing an update otherwise it’s going to be stopped soon. I quickly figured it was a scam and hung up straight away.

Got a call from a stiff, no-nonsense British bloke with a recorded message saying my broadband had to be updated straight away or it’d be cut off. Then I was told to hang on for an advisor, who ended up being an Asian gentleman. When I asked (politely, but short) why they'd called, they just slammed the phone down on me! Definitely a dodgy, risky scam call.
