I got a call from someone saying he was with Curry’s, but his thick Indian accent made it hard to follow what he was saying. Then he handed me over to his ‘manager’ who talked right over me and seemed to get really annoyed when I mentioned there isn’t a Curry’s office in Frome. He insisted they’d just opened one, so I asked why he was calling from Forres then. I called him out on being in India and using a fake number for some kind of scam. When he told me to prove it, I just hung up!

I received a phone call from a gentleman today. His accent was quite hard to decipher. He brought up figures like £10, which I found a bit odd. After a brief chat, I told him I was going to hang up and promptly did.

Somebody rang up saying they were from O2 and had a 40% off deal. I played along for a bit, then when I told them I wasn’t actually an O2 customer, they just hung up and said I was wasting their time! Honestly, what nerve!

Got a call from an unknown number, didn't answer or say anything, it only rang for about 9 seconds.

Terrible connection on the call, the person on the other end seemed to have an Asian accent. Could barely catch what they were saying because the line was so bad. Mentioned something about my phone network, which felt a bit dodgy since my provider never calls me directly. Told them to take my details off their list but before I could finish, the call just got cut. Definite scam or some annoying sales call.
