Today around lunchtime, I got a robo call from this number. The voice said it was ‘British Telecom’ and warned that people ‘near you’ had hacked our internet, and it would be cut off starting ‘from today forward’. I almost asked which hospital they meant, but then realised it was probably one of those automated things! They told me to press 1 to talk to a tech or 2 to disconnect the internet automatically, but I didn’t press anything.
