Someone rang me saying they were from BT and wanted me to change my router or have a look at it. Thing is, I don’t have a Sky router at all since I’m with a different provider, not BT or Sky. I told them they were barking up the wrong tree and ended the call. The number was from 01305, which I hadn’t seen linked to a scam before, so I rang it back to be sure. Unsurprisingly, it showed up as “Not Recognised,” so I’m guessing it was a spoofed number.
