I received a rather concerning pre-recorded message from this number claiming that there had been an update to my Amazon Prime account, and that funds had been deducted accordingly. They went on to say that I should press 1 if I wanted to cancel the transaction. I decided to disregard it entirely, as I’m aware that Amazon doesn't operate in this manner at all.

Got a call from this number and some robotic voice told me my Amazon Prime subscription was renewed and they charged me something like £59.99. Then it said if I wanted to cancel, press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t press a thing and just ended the call straight away. I don’t have Amazon Prime and never did. Clearly, it’s a scam trying to get people to hand over cash. Watch out everyone, don’t share any details, not even your name or address, don’t give these scammers any info at all.
