They proposed a complimentary survey and estimate. Consequently, I arranged for a visit from one of their representatives at 12:30 on Tuesday, 1st September. A delightful chap arrived punctually and conducted the survey, providing us with a quote that was roughly what I anticipated (initially around £7000, which he promptly slashed to about £3700). After expressing my gratitude for his effort, he departed right after. Often, we are too hasty to air grievances and leave negative feedback, so I wanted to share a positive experience instead. The gentleman's name was C. Moriss, and he approached his work with great professionalism, reassuring me that all of our information would be wiped from their system post-haste. Best, M. Trout S. However, when the so-called "surveyor" arrived, it turned out he was from a company that sprays insulation onto the internal roof. When we expressed our disinterest, the gentleman, a certain Philip Overton, resorted to some extremely rude language and shockingly told us to "go away and die," along with other unsavoury comments.
