I got a call from a lady who had a pretty thick West African accent, claiming to be from BT. She told me my internet was acting up and said she could fix it for me (but I’m not even a BT customer). I politely told her I wasn’t interested and thanked her. Later, I tried ringing the number she called from, but it just wouldn’t connect. That made me even more suspicious it was some kinda scam.
