I got a couple of calls on my landline today from 01304 600xxx numbers. Strangely, the second call appeared as International on my phone even tho 01304 is actually my local area code. I picked up the second call but there was silence on the other end. When I tried calling back the first number, it just said the number wasn’t in service.

redstar finance ppi - i got calls from a dover number, but they also ring from a manchester one, 01618501196. they've been ringing me non stop from both, so watch out for that number as well!

I picked up the phone and the person on the other end claimed I was due a refund from Barclays. I told them I've never even had an account with Barclays before, then quickly ended the call and blocked the number on my phone. Honestly, just another annoying telemarketer.

They rang me 6 times in just one day, so I finally picked up on the last try - but they just ended the call straight away. From now on, if I don’t recognise the number, I’m not picking up. YET ANOTHER SCAM. VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. THEY CLAIM TO BE IN MANCHESTER BUT USE A DOVER AREA CODE. WHEN YOU CALL THEM BACK ON A HIDDEN NUMBER, THEY SAY THEY CANT ACCESS ANY ACCOUNT INFO. TOTALLY A SCAM. BEST TO JUST BLOCK THESE NUMBERS.
