I got a call from a woman saying she was from "NWR", asking about my living situation to see if I was eligible for certain government schemes. But when I asked her how they’d got my phone number, she just cut the call straight away. Since they sounded English, I reckon this has to be dodgy - no legit firm would just disconnect like that over a simple question. Pretty sure it’s a complete con.

I just let it ring and go straight to voicemail, but they didn’t bother to leave anything. Honestly, I wish there was a way to keep them on the line longer so they end up racking up some call costs.

Got a call around 11:30 in the morning on 12/1/19. When I asked their name, they just hung up. They did say they'd ring back though.
