I received a recorded voicemail claiming that a transaction of £599 had been made on my Visa card. It instructed me to connect with my bank manager if I didn’t initiate the payment. Strangely, it didn’t specify the name of my bank or even mention my own name throughout the message. Quite suspicious, so I hung up and tried to call back, but it was an unknown number.
