I suspect it was a dodgy phishing attempt! They claimed to be from the UK Money Advice and urged me to verify my personal info. That’s precisely why I chose to block their number for the time being!

Got a call from 01303901557 saying they were 'UK Money Advice' and asked me to verify my personal info. Totally a scam if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Lloyds bank about fraud. I just ended the call and then logged into my online banking to see if anything was wrong with my account. Thankfully, nothing was wrong. The bank confirmed to me it was a scam. My advice: never share info or transfer money, just hang up and get in touch with your bank yourself.

Got two calls on my mobile in less than 30 minutes from the same number. No voicemail left so I’m thinking it’s not really important. Probably just another spam call. I never pick up if I don’t know the number, if it’s legit they’ll leave a message, easy as that!
