These lot keep ringing me up, using my name and phone number but the address and postcode they’ve got are completely off. I’ve blocked loads of them, but no matter what, a few days or weeks later, they’re back with a new number. Proper scammers trying to fish for your info - totally dodgy.

I just let it ring straight to my voicemail. There was a lady on the message, sounded like she had an Asian accent, asking for either me or my husband. Thing is, my husband passed away about eight years ago. As soon as she figured out it was just the answering machine, she ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was Gina, some sort of energy advisor for my locality. When I asked what authority she had to give advice, she started talking to someone else but the mic was muffled so I could barely make out what was said, then she just ended the call. Pretty obvious it was a con, since she gave up as soon as she realised I wasn’t falling for it. Bit of a pity though, would’ve been fun to keep her chatting and drag the call out to burn some of their time.

Got a call again today from a woman with an Indian accent who said my loft insulation didn’t meet the standards. I told her she was ringing from a number I recognise as being linked to scams, and to stop calling because I wasn’t sharing any details with her. She just cut off the call - fingers crossed that’s the final time.

Got a missed call and I called back after about an hour. A voice with an accent picked up and said they’d connect me to an agent as soon as possible. After that, there was loads of annoying buzzing sounds so I just hung up straight away. Totally an unwanted call. This happened around 5:30 pm on July 22nd, here in North Dorset.

I got a call about my loft insulation, they claimed the stuff I had was out of date and needed replacing. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from a woman who said her name was Gina but honestly sounded more like she was from South Asia, though she tried to sound American. She claimed she was my local energy advisor, but I’m in Folkestone and this definitely wasn’t a local. She’s no advisor - just a scammer trying to trick people. Honestly, this kind of fraud needs to be stopped and she should be sent back where she came from.

I got a call from an unknown number 01303 901540 on my home phone at about 90:18 on Fri, 22nd July 2022. I answered and said "Hello" and "Who's this?" but no one replied. I just ended the call.

Getting sneaky these days. The number looked like it was from my area. When my answerphone picked up, they just hung up. there's always that weird delay before they pick up, then this Indian accent asking me to do some survey. obviously just scammers. they didn’t even bother to check their info, asking for a person who died ages ago. so I just ended the call.

I've decided to block that number! It's definitely the wisest move for dealing with those pesky cold-callers! They had the cheek to ring me up about scheduling a visit to assess whether my loft insulation met current standards. They even suggested I complete a brief survey as well. Unbelievable!

Got a call, probably one of those dodgy call centre scams from India. They claimed they needed to do a survey on the loft to confirm it met recent standards. My missus wasn’t having any of it, told the bloke to shove off and ended the call sharpish.
