I received a rather curious phone call claiming I'd won an inclusive holiday for four to Spain. They started asking a series of bizarre questions to confirm my identity, including whether I owned my home and my age bracket-between 34 and 65, if you can believe it! It soon became apparent that they were fishing for cash, as they demanded a fee to “secure” my supposed prize. The moment we divulged that my income was below £30,000, they promptly lost interest!
