Yet another dodgy automated call claiming to be from 'Amazon Prime', informing me that my account has been automatically renewed for £39.99 - funny, they don’t mention which currency! It then goes on to say that if I wish to stop this, I should press 1 to chat with someone at Amazon. I can only assume that it's a ploy to extract my bank details in the guise of a refund. The irony is, I don’t even use Amazon or hold an Amazon Prime membership. Total scam alert!

Just got one of those dodgy automated calls claiming my "Amazon Prime subscription has been renewed for 39.99" - weirdly, it never mentioned which currency that was in! Then it told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel or speak to Amazon. Obviously, it’s a scam to get your bank info by pretending to refund you. I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account or use Amazon at all. Total con.

i keep gettin these calls with a dull voice talkin bout my amazon account or somethin. seriously, these calls need to be blocked asap.
