Got a call with a recorded bloke telling me it was Talk Talk saying my internet would be disconnected soon. They wanted me to press 1 to chat with an engineer or 2 to stop the service. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Just yesterday I got one of those Amazon Prime scam calls, and a few days earlier it was one about visa authorisation. Honestly, it feels like I get hit with a scam call almost every week. If it’s one of those robotic messages, I usually let the recording finish before putting the phone down, and I never say a word back. But when there’s a real person on the line, I sometimes try to waste a bit of their time chatting before ending the call.

When I answered the phone, there was a recorded voice saying my visa debit card had been used and money moved to an overseas account, and I had to ring my bank by pressing 1. I just ended the call straight away. This is the second time I've got a call like this in the past week.
