Got a missed call really early this morning, and since we live in the 01302 area with '897' pointing to a mainly residential spot, I doubted it was from a call centre or anything big like that. I received a call from this number, and it was flagged as potential spam. Decided against picking up. After looking into it further, I've gone ahead and blocked it.

So this guy said something like "U K VERSAL", and then just started shouting at me, asking who I was and why they were ringing me, or where they got my number from. He basically yelled that they weren’t doing sales and that they just wanted to ask three easy questions about my house. Nope, no thanks. Plus, I really don’t believe they actually took my number off their list like I asked.

Got a call from someone saying they were doing a quick survey but didn't catch the company name. Sounded like it was from an Indian or Pakistani call centre. They were using outdated details and tried to get me to confirm my address and personal info. I told them to delete all my information or they'd be breaking data protection laws and I'd take action. When I asked for the company's name and address to make a complaint and maybe claim for harassment, they just hung up straight away! If I manage to find out who they are, I'll update here.

Received a ring from this number, and the person on the line didn’t sound English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish at all. Seemed more like Indian, Pakistani or maybe from the Middle East. It was a woman who never explained where she was calling from, just asked for my date of birth. Told her to sod off because they were being really rude, so they got what was coming. Honestly, the Government needs to step up, work with phone companies and put an end to these annoying calls. They’re out here stealing identities and even breaking into people’s accounts.

I've been receiving persistent calls from this number, and it's becoming rather bothersome.
