I got a call from someone asking if I still had a driveway, which struck me as a bit odd. When I said it was a strange thing to ask, he went on to say they wanted to feature my driveway in some kind of promotion. I told him I wasn’t interested in answering that and he just said “no worries” and hung up. Since then, the same number keeps ringing me, sometimes twice a day. Got a few calls from this bloke, asking odd questions like if I still got a driveway cause he’s “selling resin surfaces.” Then he cheekily asked if I’m over 50 years old, said something about me qualifying for some emergency pendant thing. Finally, there was talk about a refund for overpaying on a washing machine repair contract. Seems like a proper all-round con artist to me. Be careful and don’t share any details with him.
