I got a call from a guy with a foreign accent who said his name was David, claiming I’d reported some damp issues in my house. Total nonsense - I haven’t even moved for ages! When I called him out and said he was trying to scam me, he just went quiet and hung up.

Didn't pick up cause it was an unknown number, looked it up here and saw loads of similar warnings, so I just blocked it and filed a report.

Got this call from some robotic voice about a housing repair service. Sounded completely fake and like a pesky telemarketer trying to sell me something I never asked for. I just hung up straight away. Don’t trust these automated calls, probably just wasting your time!

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking if I had any damp or mould problems. I told them I wasn’t interested, and you could tell they were really down about it, probably had loads of knocks back today. Not sure what their real purpose was, might’ve been a scam or some spam thing. I tend to be careful with calls like that, especially when they’re quiet and have an Indian accent, it sets off alarm bells for me. Ended up blocking the number just in case.

got a call from a guy with a clear indian accent who said i'd reached out to him about an issue at my place and he was returning my call. he tried to start a bit of a chat but quickly moved on to asking for personal info, which i wisely didn’t share. when i asked him to verify my name and address, since he insisted we’d talked before, he just hung up. pretty sure it was a scam, probably targeting folks who might be more easily tricked.
