I didn't pick up, but after checking out those reports, I decided to block the number.

I got a call on my mobile from a guy with an Indian accent. He started by asking how I was and said he was calling from the Compliance Department. When I asked which compliance department exactly, he then mentioned that the council had reported cracks and mould issues in my house. Curious, I asked which council it was, but he admitted he didn’t have my name or address, so that seemed pointless. Then he tried to suggest a free survey, but I declined. After that, he offered to remove me from their list, which I agreed to. He was very polite throughout. The call apparently came from Doncaster.

Got two calls this morning from someone asking for David, which is my partner’s name oddly enough - but the bloke had an Asian accent! Told him where to shove it and that if it’s really from the housing office, they’d already have my details. I was just about to enjoy my cuppa but got totally distracted, haha! 😂

Got a call from someone named 'Harvey' who said he was from some home services company, but I couldn’t quite get the full name. He tried again, and still I missed it. Then he asked if I had any cracks or damp in the walls, supposedly about house repairs. I told him nope, no issues. Then he seemed surprised and asked again if I really didn’t have any problems. I said no again. Suddenly he said "You're hilarious," and just hung up on me. Definitely one of those annoying spam calls!
