I got a call on my mobile from a guy with an Indian accent. He started by asking how I was and said he was calling from the Compliance Department. When I asked which compliance department exactly, he then mentioned that the council had reported cracks and mould issues in my house. Curious, I asked which council it was, but he admitted he didn’t have my name or address, so that seemed pointless. Then he tried to suggest a free survey, but I declined. After that, he offered to remove me from their list, which I agreed to. He was very polite throughout. The call apparently came from Doncaster.

Received a couple of calls earlier today from someone claiming to be David, which is rather peculiar since that’s my husband’s name! To make matters even stranger, the chap was Asian and mentioned something about a damp and mould housing disrepair claim, urging me to provide my address for someone to come round. I promptly told him where he could shove his request, pointing out that if he was genuinely from my housing provider, he'd already possess my address. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to return to my delightful cup of tea, which is rather enjoyable at this moment, and you’re rather interrupting my peaceful cuppa! 😂☕️
