If I wanted to sort that kind of thing, I'd research and pick a proper company myself, not get hassled by these cold callers. So yeah, blocked this number straight away like the others before.

Got a call from Heart Heating in Doncaster. They started by saying they’re working in my area today and that my number is on their list. I told them it shouldn’t be since I’m signed up on TPS and never agreed for them to ring me. I said I’d report them and asked where they got my number from, and then the woman just hung up. Honestly shocked if the ICO hasn’t slapped them with a big fine yet given how many complaints are popping up everywhere.

Would be great if phone companies actually cared about stopping this mess, 'cause it’s just plain harassment no matter how you see it. They called me by my name claiming to be from Heart Heating or something like that. Had some nonsense about government grants. I told them I wasn’t interested and that I doubt I’d qualify for any so called “free” stuff. The guy goes, “how do you know, want me to check?” I just said “No, thanks” and ended the call. I’m on the TPS list so obviously they don’t care about that. Total p######.
