Got a ring from productive energy and I was a bit suspicious at first, as you can imagine. But then the lady on the phone kindly explained it was part of a private deal for homeowners and said I might qualify. I gave her a listen and Apparently, swapping out old boilers could cut my gas bills by up to half, plus I wouldn't need to pay for my current boiler cover anymore. It sounded legit, so I arranged for an energy advisor to pop round and go through the details. They weren't at all pushy, which was a relief.

I asked the person where they found my details and mentioned GDPR worries. They said they got them from a data supplier and that a manager would ring me back. They were trying to sell me a boiler. When I asked for their business address, the caller just ended the call. I'll wait for the manager to get in touch about the data source, but I’m not holding my breath.

Got a call asking for Mrs Smith, so I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then they started rattling off my address and asked if I wasn’t the homeowner. Who on earth are these lot?

Number seemed familiar at first but then I remembered missing a call from it last week. Lucky I didn’t pick up as I looked it up and found out it was one of those cold calls. Probably got my number from the EPC database like others have said, which annoys me cos I’m just renting and selling stuff about the property makes no sense. Sorted it by blocking them.

Got a call from this number recently, and the lady actually called me by my first name. I asked her if she actually knew me or if we’d been introduced, just to see what was going on, then she just hung up. Bit daft maybe. When I get those calls about that accident that supposedly wasn’t my fault, I always say I had a bad one and lost my memory, but it must be true since I keep getting calls about it. I rang back and a woman named Amanda answered, she had a strong accent like she was from South Yorkshire, probably near Doncaster. A quick look on Google for Productive Energy and Doncaster brings up loads of telesales jobs on Indeed. Seems like they’re just cold calling folks who dont want to be bothered. Blocked straight away.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, so I looked it up here to find out who it might be. Didn’t want to trust it fully though, so I called back since it’s a local dialling code. Turns out it’s some info line about private offers. The guy I chatted with was really friendly, I mentioned I wasn’t keen on the boiler upgrade and he didn’t push at all lol. Are you all sure you’re talking about the same place, or maybe call centres just aren’t your thing? Haha!

A woman claimed she was calling from an energy firm. I told her not to phone me again as I don’t appreciate cold calls and I wasn’t interested. She just laughed and said that because of what I said, I’d be getting plenty more calls from various numbers.

Some energy firm gave me a ring asking about my boiler. When I said they should stop cold calling me, the woman insisted it wasn’t a cold call and that I’d agreed to get their calls. Doubt it. I asked for the company’s name and address, but she said she couldn’t provide any info and that a manager would ring me within half an hour. She even laughed when I said I’d report them.
