I've seen a couple of comments saying we should take steps to stop these overseas scammers from cheating the vulnerable and annoying everyone else. It’s a bit of a hassle but I’ve been reporting suspicious calls and texts to the police database regularly - I even saved the address in my bookmarks for easy access. The truth is, it’ll need lots of folks doing the same for anything to change, but everyday plenty here report these scam attempts. You won’t see instant results if you do your part, but if nobody bothers, these scams will just keep going on forever.

Someone rang up saying they were from Domestic & General Repairs and told me my tariff was all wrong.
