I received a rather alarming automated call claiming to be from my Internet Service Provider, warning that my internet would be disconnected imminently unless I pressed 1 to speak with some so-called ‘Internet Executive’. Naturally, I contacted my actual provider, who confirmed everything was just fine on their end. It’s obvious this is yet another scam tactic. What's more, I've been bombarded with three calls from this number in less than a day!
