I received a call from someone who introduced himself as "John from BT Openreach" and said he was there to sort out some issues with my broadband connection. He even inquired whether I owned the property. Honestly, it felt quite suspicious to me, especially considering that I don’t even have BT as my provider!

I got a call from a bloke saying his name was John and he was with Openreach. He claimed the broadband at my place wasn’t working, but everything seemed fine on my end. He wanted to talk to whoever owns the house, but when I said "John" wasn’t in and offered to take a message, he just ended the call abruptly.
