Some bloke rang saying he was "John from BT Openreach" and that he needed to sort out my dodgy broadband connection. He even asked if I owned the house. Didn't sound right to me, especially since I’m not even with BT.

I got a call from a bloke saying his name was John and he was with Openreach. He claimed the broadband at my place wasn’t working, but everything seemed fine on my end. He wanted to talk to whoever owns the house, but when I said "John" wasn’t in and offered to take a message, he just ended the call abruptly.
