Some woman rang me claiming her name was Jane or maybe Jayne, hard to be sure. When I asked her to give her full name, she just went quiet. She said she got my number from an “information broker,” but when I pressed her on who that was, she clammed up. Instead of saying who she really was or explaining about this broker, she just ended the call on me. Totally feels like a scam or some dodgy harassment. The number 01301 330053 is for Arrochar, Argyll, but I’m pretty certain she didn’t have a Scottish accent at all.

Got a call from a very polite young guy about checking my loft insulation. He wanted to schedule a survey and asked how old I was. He mentioned something about my loft having outdated insulation that might lead to damp problems. When I didn’t want to share details, he just hung up on me. Felt pretty dodgy to me, like a total scam.

Sounds like the company’s skint and running things on next to nothing because the bot was so rubbish and obvious. Honestly, to these scammers, why not try earning a crust the right way instead of blagging with cheap phone calls!

Got a call from 01301330053, another one of those annoying "loft insulation and solar panels" scams. This time they said they were calling from Scotland (yeah right), but I reckon they’re probably miles away, maybe India or somewhere similar. The voice sounded dodgy as usual, and of course they didn’t get anywhere with me. Bet they’ll ring again though, these pesters never give up!

Had a call from some posh-sounding bloke about loft insulation, sounded like a total scam so I just told em to jog on. Wouldn't trust that one for a second!

A bloke who said his name was Chris rang me up claiming our loft insulation wasn’t up to scratch and that our house was on some Government list for having the wrong kind. I cut him off pretty quick to say our insulation is totally fine, then he just went quiet and ended the call.
