I didnt pick up the phone cos I was having a shower. Lucky for me! Checking the call history, it looks like these scammers have been going on for a few years now. Why havent the police caught them yet? Come on, law enforcement, do your job!

I bank with Lloyds too and noticed this scammer uses the exact same name as them in the texts I got, even at the bottom it looks legit. I was stuck on hold for over 3 hours before I looked up the number on Google. If I wasn’t careful, I might’ve lost nearly £100.

Got a couple of texts from GMX claiming my Lloyds bank account was at risk and to call straight away on 01301330015. I realised it was a scam, but popped into Lloyds to report it anyway, and they said they were aware and the scammers have been using various phone numbers. The second message came through just after midnight and woke me up, which was really frustrating. I've been getting loads of unwanted calls on my phone recently and I'm considering switching networks, as I suspect EE might be passing my number about.
