Watch out, total scam! They’ve faked the number so it looks like a text from Binance, giving you a withdrawal code and telling you to ring them if you didn’t ask for the withdrawal. Seems like a proper trick to catch people out!

Got a call from 01301301002 on 1 Nov 2022, from the Isle of Wight. The caller was an Asian man who claimed we'd spoken the previous December, which was odd. He was really stubborn, going over the same points again and again. He kept saying ibuprofen was harmful to me. When I tried to end it by explaining I was already under a doctor’s care and didn’t see the need to chat anymore, he argued that my doctor wasn’t doing their job because I was taking ibuprofen. The only way to stop him was to just hang up, which I did!

Seems like a total scam, claiming to be from some Wellness company. I hung up straight away because they started asking too many nosy questions!

The call began with someone asking if this was the right number, then they just kept saying hello like they couldn’t hear me properly. I grabbed the phone off my wife and shouted back, but then they asked why I was yelling. Gave it back to my wife, and the caller was still just saying hello. We ended up hanging up. When I looked up the number, it turned out to be some kind of wellness clinic with a foreign-sounding voice.

I got a call from a man with a foreign accent claiming he was from some health awareness group contacting pensioners in Hampshire. He mentioned a website, directnature.co.uk, and started asking me about my health. Something about the call felt off, especially since he kept repeating the same lines over and over like he was reading from a set script. I told him I suspected it might be a scam and ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy call earlier. The person on the other end inquired about my wellbeing. I had already shared those details the day before and was rather hesitant to spill any more information over the phone. Despite my lack of cooperation, they pressed on, so I finally had to cut the conversation short and say I was terminating the call.

My landline got a call from a woman with a foreign accent saying she was ringing from some sort of centre. The line was really bad and full of noise, so I told her I couldn’t make out what she was saying. She hung up straight away. After looking it up, it’s clear now it wasn’t a legit call at all.

(01301301002) Got a call on my landline from someone who said her name was Sarah, claiming to be with some sort of senior advice centre. She actually used my husband's last name when speaking to me. I wasn't up for any unsolicited calls, so I just told her I wasn’t interested and hung up. Good thing I looked up the number afterwards - turns out it was a scam.

They keep ringing my mum non-stop, pestering her until she ended up buying tablets off them. When I answered the phone, the bloke thought I was my mum and started calling me “love” and asked if I was alright. I told him I didn’t know who he was, but he just said, “Of course you do, I call you all the time to see how you’re doing.” I’m genuinely worried sick for my mum - this guy’s a total con artist and honestly quite unsettling. Mum’s been having loads of problems with her bank account recently, and I’m convinced it’s because she gave her card info to these scammers.

I received a call this morning at precisely 11:12 from a chap named Shaun, who claimed to be representing a firm called "Wellbeing." This marks the second time I’ve had a chat with this company. He was promoting some sort of Aloe Vera Extract product and suggested that he could arrange for a delivery of these tablets today if I was interested. I made it abundantly clear that I wouldn’t consider any kind of medication without consulting my GP first, and that I certainly wasn’t about to place an order over the phone with a stranger. I mentioned how prevalent scams are nowadays, to which he chuckled. He then probed for information about when I would next be visiting my doctor, presumably to follow up on the matter, but I courteously declined to provide any details. Shaun was articulate and polite throughout the conversation, but it felt rather suspicious, as if he was fishing for my banking information to dispatch those tablets.

Got a call to my old TPS-listed number that’s been out of use for ages. The caller was super cagey about their identity and location. They mentioned both me and my wife by name, which was a bit unsettling. Then they claimed I’d spoken with them last year about some medical issue, but that’s totally not true - I’ve never had that condition. When I pushed back and questioned them firmly, they just hung up on me.

Received a call on 9th May 2022 at around half past eleven in the morning. A woman with a foreign accent claimed to be from a wellbeing service. She mentioned that the individual they were looking for wasn’t available at the moment. Then the line went dead. This could be quite disconcerting and risky, especially for those who might be under the watchful eye of a wellbeing service. It’s wise to verify your wellbeing number and ascertain whether the call was legitimate. Remember, they won't request your personal information since they should already have it on record.

They’re trying to scam people by selling counterfeit meds just to access your bank info. If you get any dodgy messages or calls, make sure to report them straight to the police fraud site. Just look up ‘action fraud’ and head to ‘police.uk’. There’s a section for reporting phishing scams - read the info carefully before filling it out. Add any links or website details you have. You don’t need to sign up, and they won’t ask for personal info unless you’ve actually lost money. The only way the police can track these fraud attempts is if we all report them.

This number keeps calling me, but I never pick up because I don’t know who it is. I let it ring through to my answerphone, and what annoys me is they just hang up, did it twice within a couple of hours. Proper frustrating!

So my missus answered the phone and some woman called ‘Ella’ started on about arthritis. Then she asked for credit card info to buy tablets - that’s when things felt dodgy. She said she was ringing from the wellbeing centre in Hounslow, which is well over 100 miles away from us. Plus, she never mentioned how she got our number. We ended up hanging up straight away.

The chap's command of English was rather lacking, to say the least. He came across as quite dodgy, if you ask me. He started inquiring about various ailments and went on about certain medications. To be honest, I found the conversation quite unsettling, so I decided to cut it short without delay.

Got a call from this really pushy bloke with a weird accent, asking all sorts about my husband’s health. He was going on about two diseases that my husband doesn’t have at all. He kept banging on about some meds supposedly bought by him but never said which ones. My husband didn’t want to share any details about his medication, and this guy definitely didn’t like that one bit.

Received a phone call from a company purporting to offer loans. The thing is, I've never shown any interest in borrowing money. They called themselves Oxford Loans and boasted about being authorised by the FCA. However, when I checked the FCA register, it turns out they’re not regulated at all! They even provided me with an FCA registration number, but it belonged to a completely different entity. I told them where to shove it and mentioned I'd report them to the relevant authorities. I've now blocked any further calls from them, but they had the audacity to try ringing me over 50 times in a mere five minutes! This is a prime example of a scam - steer well clear!

I received a call and politely declined, only for the caller to respond with an inappropriate remark telling me to "bugger off." Upon requesting clarification, he reiterated his unsavoury comment.
