this morning I got a message from someone saying they were ‘Lloyds’ telling me to ring a certain number. I ended up calling the fraud team at Lloyds myself and they said it wasn’t from them at all.

just got this dodgy phishing text too. they’re spoofing lloyds as the sender so it looks like a genuine message from them. don’t ring the number they give you. if you’re worried, best just call lloyds directly using a number from their official site.
