I received a rather peculiar phone call from a pleasant lady claiming to represent a firm that provides insulation services. She mentioned something about the government supposedly offering complimentary insulation to select households, including mine. However, I couldn't find any online confirmation of this scheme, so I felt it prudent to decline their offer. Honestly, it felt a bit fishy to me, and I suspect it might be a scam.

This bloke called saying something about government loft insulation being fitted recently, but when I told him I hadn’t had any done, he just ended the call on me!
