Today, I received a rather peculiar call on my landline regarding some insulation I supposedly misplaced. The individual claimed to have information suggesting it was creating condensation issues in my attic. He offered to replace it at no cost and proceeded to inquire about setting up an appointment. As I pressed him for more details, there was an odd silence, and then he simply hung up. He spoke in a way that felt scripted, which left me feeling rather unsettled. It was an odd and unexpected call, to say the least!
