I got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming she was from Guaranteed Telecom. She was trying to persuade me to sign up for some nuisance call blocking service and then asked to "verify" my card info for supposed monthly phone charges. I was so focused on making sense of what she was saying, I didn’t realise quickly enough that she was fishing for way too much personal info!
