Some woman rang saying she was from this BT call blocking team, checking if I was still getting loads of nuisance calls. She went on about how they’re still trying to sort it out but need a bit more time. Then strangely, she read back all my info perfectly. Next, she asked for my debit card info, saying it was necessary for the service and I needed it ready. When I asked which company she was with, she just shot off the phone. She spoke English well, with an accent, and sounded legit at first, but the moment she wanted bank details, I knew it was dodgy. Total scam!
